Nicholas Leslie Rheinberg (born April 1949) is the current Coroner for Cheshire.
Career[]
Born in Harrow, he was coroner for the East Somerset district until 1999 when he took over the role in Cheshire, but retained the role of deputy coroner for some time.
One of his most important cases as the Senior Coroner of the county of Cheshire was the Gary Speed inquest, adjourned until January 2012 and held at Warrington Coroner's Court after the manager of the Wales national association football team had hanged himself in November of 2011. Coroner Mr. Rheinberg ruled that the cause of death was indeed hanging and that he may not have meant to kill himself.
