William James Armstrong OBE (born 9 February 1946) was the Coroner for Norfolk county from 1995 to 2013.
Career[]
William James Armstrong was born in February 1946 and became the coroner for Norfolk in 1995. He remained in this position for 19 years until he retired in 2013 to become the Sheriff of Norwich.
When he retired at the age of 67, Jacqueline Lake took over the role as Norfolk Coroner. Armstrong received the honour of an OBE in the 2015 New Year's Honours, one of a handful of coroners to be honoured this way.
